Purpose: To prepare missionaries for mission overseas and to help them acquire cross-cultural and intercultural competence.
Content: Inputs on India and Indian faith traditions; Host country and host culture; Elements of cultural transition; Psychological frontiers to overseas mission; Skills for intercultural community living and ministry; Dynamics of missionary presence; Implications of new religious movements for global mission; Emerging trends in evangelization; Acquiring cross-cultural competency and Sharing of lived experiences by missionaries from overseas mission.
Registration and Course Charges: ₹ 6,000/-
Additional Information: Considering the situation of pandemic, we are taking certain precautions for the safety of all the participants. Hence, this course is open primarily to missionaries residing in and around Pune and to others who have religious institutional facilities in Pune, where they are able to spend a quarantine period of 7 days on their own from January 6, prior to their arrival at Ishvani Kendra on January 12th evening. Only those who do not show any symptoms of Covid-19 will be allowed to join the programme.
